On the school site we have an environmental area with a polytunnel and greenhouse which are used to produce fruits, vegetables and summer bedding plants. Children are taught to plant, tend and harvest the produce and are shown the benefits of eating a healthy diet.

Welcome to North Ridge Community School

On behalf of the children, staff and governors of North Ridge Community School, welcome to our school.  Whether you are already a member of our school community, a prospective member or indeed just browsing, we hope that you find it interesting.

Our school has three departments; primary from 3 to 11, secondary department aged 11 to 16 and the 6th form age 16 to 19. Each department has its own distinct uniform and individual nature but all three departments have one thing in common, they are all happy.

We believe that each child has the right to quality education, care and guidance, and that families are supported in meeting children's needs. We believe in providing a trouble free environment, we listen to children and parents, and we value everyone's contribution to school life. We hope our website will give you all the information you require, if not please contact us!
