First, can I just say how much I am missing everyone in school but particularly in Earth Class. I miss singing and signing with you each day, but I am still managing to sing ‘Top, Top, Top, Top of the morning’ each day to my dog ‘Chops!’ The problem is he doesn’t sing or sign back to me like we all do in Earth Class!
Well, the sun is shining and I have just been for the walk with ‘Chops’ who is enjoying all the fresh air. I know you must all be missing our classroom activities and learning plus our lovely outdoor sessions and playtimes in the spring sunshine, I know I am. Hopefully you will be keeping busy at home and may have the opportunity to play outside too. Can you remember before we finished school that we learnt how to wash our hands properly to stop us getting poorly? I really hope that you are remembering to do this so that you and all your families are keeping safe.
I am going to think of some exciting things for you to do at home this week, so I hope you will enjoy keeping busy and learning some new things.
I took our class pets home (the 3 gold fish) for a holiday, and they are having a great time swimming about with all the other fishes in the pond! They have lots of frogs to swim about with and we have had 2 special visitors this week…….Mr and Mrs. Duck! They waddle up to my back door each day to be fed! What do you think they like to eat? I will take some photos of them next time they fly in so that you can look at the pictures and learn the sign for ducks!
Take care everyone and listen to what the grown ups ask you to do to keep happy, safe and well.
Lots of love from Mrs Mcintyre xx
